We are Troop 360
Here, Parents and Scouts work together having fun and adventure in the great outdoors while living the principles of the Boy Scout Oath and Law to build leaders of character for the next generation.
Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday at the Encino Park Community Center Address: 1923 Encino Rio, San Antonio, TX 78259
We start the meeting at 7:00pm
Troop 360 is chartered by the American Legion Post 10 and has a rich history of leadership development and a tradition of service to the community.
Our troop follows the principles of a “boy-run troop” where Scouts, through their elected leadership, plan and execute the meetings, activities and outings. The adult leaders act as an ever present resource to help, advise and support them in achieving their goals, which they have indicated are:
- Making sure the Scouts have fun and learn at the same time.
- Keep scouts interested in advancement and stay involved in Scouting.
- Guide boys in planning the troop program.
- Provide leadership training and development opportunities for scouts.
We take pride in saying that a significant number of our Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout – a rank attained by fewer than 2% of all youth who enter a scouting program.
Is your scout looking to have fun and adventure in the great outdoors with a group of dedicated young leaders? We might be the troop you have been searching for!
